
Lycoming College junior Heather Frantz was named the Commonwealth Conference Volleyball Player of the Week
ANNVILLE, Pa. – Lycoming College volleyball player Heather Frantz has been named the Commonwealth Conference Volleyball Player of the Week for her performance in the final match of the season.
Frantz, a senior from Pine Grove, Pa., saved her best performance for last. She posted a career high 23 kills in the Lady Warriors 3-2 win against Arcadia to close out the season.
On senior night, she posted a hitting percentage of .381 while also recording 11 digs and two blocks in the match.
Frantz’s 955 career kills rank her eighth all-time at Lycoming and her 1,117 career digs rank fifth all-time. She finished the season with 513 digs, ranking her third all-time for a single-season, and she attempted 1,054 attacks, which ranks sixth in single-season attempts.
The Lady Warriors finished the season with a 14-18 overall record.
