Lorenzet named Commonwealth Men’s Soccer Player of the Week

ANNVILLE, Pa. – Lycoming College junior soccer standout Chris Lorenzet was named the Commonwealth Conference Men’s Soccer Player of the Week for his performance against Waynesburg on Saturday, Sept. 6. The honor was announced by the league office on Monday, Sept. 8.
 
Lorenzet, a native of Forest Hill, Md., led the Warriors past Waynesburg, 3-0, on Saturday by scoring two goals in the game, including the game winner in the first half and an insurance goal in the second half.
 
The goals were his third and fourth of the season, giving him a team-best nine points in three games this year.
 
The Warriors (2-0-1) will travel to Susquehanna on Wednesday, Sept. 10, for the annual Battle of the Boot. Kickoff is scheduled for 7:00 p.m.
